Jamie Ross

Jamie Ross’ journey with Type 1 Diabetes started with his grandmother who had a unique diagnosis with type 1 at the age of 40. Then, his older brother Noah was diagnosed at the age of 4 and then he was diagnosed at the age of 7. Jamie and his family have been heavily involved in the diabetes community for over 20 years now. He has been playing guitar since he was 13 years old, he also writes music, sings, and plays bass. He’s been the lead singer and guitarist of his band, The Oh Darlings, since his days at Western University. The band also consists of Jordan Sugar on guitar and vocals, Jack Terry on Bass, and Justin Voronoff on drums.

Erez Zobary

Toronto-based R&B/pop artist Erez Zobary has a timeless voice, in more ways than one. Raised on the sounds of Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse, Erez’s soulful vocals echo the rich styles of the music she grew up loving. A singer and songwriter, she blends classic soul influences with contemporary pop to create music that feels both nostalgic and deeply personal.

Erez was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in January 2026. This event marks her first time sharing music within the T1D community since her diagnosis. She is especially excited to perform original songs, including pieces written in response to her diagnosis and the journey of navigating life with T1D so far.
