We are thrilled to be partnering with T1D Advocate Alana Diening (and mom!) and her team at the North Simcoe Muskoka Self-Management Program to offer an Empathy Effect workshop for interested parents, caregivers, and peer leaders/supporters.
🌲 And what could be a more beautiful setting for this important work? The training will be held in our beautiful yurt nestled in the woods, creating a warm, peaceful space to connect, learn, and reflect together.
Empathy Effect training is designed to support caregivers and others who want to strengthen and maintain communication with their children, peers, and family members while navigating life with a chronic condition.
🥗 Lunch is provided.
📘 Includes workbook and certificate.
🧒 We will provide active kids programming during the workshop, led by ICD mentors.
We’d love to have you join us for this meaningful day of learning, connection, and empathy, surrounded by nature.
