Calgary Toboggan Bowl!
January 20, 2024
Quality time with peers and diabetes leaders leads to proven positive outcomes in physical and mental health for youth. Our team provides support and mentorship for T1Ds, through experiential learning.
Bring your family or friends out for an afternoon of sledding/tobogganing this January! Bundle up in your snowsuits and pack your low supplies, let's race down the hill to make meaningful connections with T1D peers. Join ICD leaders for a toasty hot chocolate and a carb-counting challenge as well!
ICD is proud to partner with C-PaK for this event! C-PaK is a Calgary and area group that strives to connect children and families affected by T1D.
Parents can join in, or connect with other T1D parents while the kiddos hit the slopes alongside our experienced leaders.

Wear that ICD attitude with pride!
Our skull logo was designed by founder Chris Jarvis when he and 11 type one teammates took on the Canadian Death Race. One of the world's toughest ultramarathons in the Rocky Mountains, the team covered 445 km in just 24 hours. The crossed needles signify that insulin allows us to take on any challenge, in the gym, in sport and on the trail.
