Brandon Decker is a young adult who found support with his diabetes through ICD, and who has made a lasting impact on everyone who got the opportunity to meet with him. In memory of Brandon, we will be gathering to play a sport he cherished alongside his loving friends and family, led by Brandon’s mom, Tammy. This day of pond hockey and family fun was imagined by Tammy, brought to life by ICD community members, and will raise funds towards helping other youth to receive the same supportive ICD programs Brandon loved. Brandon was saving for a trip to Mount Assiniboine, and in the spirit of honouring his memory and his boundless generosity, the proceeds of this event with continue to support another youth’s dream, sending them on the adventure of a lifetime.
No matter your skill level, we want to see you out on the pond and/or by the fire! Come-one, come-all to a day filled with fun. The 3v3 tournament includes a shared lunch, and an afternoon tournament. Teams will be made by the classic "sticks-in-the-middle" process, so don't worry if you don't have a team- friends will be made!
