This adventure is ideal for tweens, teens, and their parents, whether you’re seasoned campers or complete beginners. You’ll learn paddling and portaging skills together, explore calm lakes, share stories around the campfire, and soak in the magic of the wilderness.
Along the way, our experienced guides will provide support and learning opportunities around diabetes management in the outdoors, helping build confidence, teamwork, and independence for every family member.
From spotting wildlife along the shoreline to jumping into clear mountain lakes and working together to set up camp, this adventure is about growth, fun, and connection.

Gear Up for Adventure
Once registered, you’ll receive a detailed packing list and everything you need to prepare for your journey. You’ll need to bring your own outdoor wear, rain jacket, and athletic wear. Not sure what to buy and what to borrow? Our leadership team can help - we may even be able to provide extra equipment such as headlamps upon request.
Cost & Inclusions
Every ticket covers permits, activities, all meals and snacks, , and leadership from the ICD team.
